Type of Comedy

Now of course the answer to this question will depend on your sense of humor. If you like the dry humor you go for the Mel Brooks films and dry humor you would veer towards the Leslie Nielson side of the spectrum. My personal favorites are Young Frankenstein, Napoleon Dynamite, and Naked Gun. What are yours?

    I have a weird sense of humor...I am a huge fan of Wedding Crashers, Old School, stuff like that. I also had a huge comedy crush on Jay and Silent Bob strike back. I guess I like the dumb comedy's more...at least thats what my wife says.

    OK, this may fit the dumb movie category, but I like the 1980 movie, 9 to 5. I show it in class occasionally. Dolly Parton, Jane Fonda, Lily Tomlin, and Dabney Coleman are the actresses/actor.

    I am a huge fan of comedies and Richard Pryor made some of the best ones. The Toy, Animal House, Dumb and Dumber, The Hangover, Revenge of The Nerds, Stepbrothers, Friday, Bustin' Loose, and Police Academy are just a few of my favorites. Laughter is definitely the best medicine. Great topic Josh.

    I love movies! I saw 9 to 5 way back in the day when it first hit theaters. (This was quite a feat when I was not allowed to go to the movie theater as a child.) But, my pick for funniest movie of all time is a no-brainer for me. Hands down it is Young Frankenstein. I thought of this movie as soon as I saw the title of this blog. I hadn't even read the opening blog yet. So, Young Frankenstein it is.

    I love anything with Will Smith and Martin Lawrence. Comedy is definitely my favorite genre. I am not really into the stupid movies like all the Date Movies.

    I really like Comedy along with Action movies, but the funniest movies I like the most are GROWN UPS, HANGOVER I can watch this one over and over again and will make me laugh as the first time. RUSH HOUR 1,2 AND 3. AMERICAN PIE (all the franchise movies).

    I am with @bsanchez2 I do not like any of the romantic style or Lord of the rings kind of movie. I just don't.
